~Deuteronomy 27:1 And Moses and the elders of Israel commandedthe people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command youthis day.
~Deuteronomy 27:2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall passover the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee,that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
~Deuteronomy 27:3 and thou shalt write upon them all the words ofthis law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto theland which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milkand honey, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee.
~Deuteronomy 27:4 And it shall be, when ye are passed over theJordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you thisday, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
~Deuteronomy 27:5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto Jehovahthy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron [tool] upon them.
~Deuteronomy 27:6 Thou shalt build the altar of Jehovah thy God ofunhewn stones; and thou shalt offer burnt-offerings thereon untoJehovah thy God:
~Deuteronomy 27:7 and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalteat there; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God.
~Deuteronomy 27:8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all thewords of this law very plainly.
~Deuteronomy 27:9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake untoall Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel: this day thouart become the people of Jehovah thy God.
~Deuteronomy 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Jehovahthy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which Icommand thee this day.
~Deuteronomy 27:11 And Moses charged the people the same day,saying,
~Deuteronomy 27:12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to blessthe people, when ye are passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi,and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
~Deuteronomy 27:13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal for thecurse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
~Deuteronomy 27:14 And the Levites shall answer, and say unto allthe men of Israel with a loud voice,
~Deuteronomy 27:15 Cursed be the man that maketh a graven ormolten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands ofthe craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shallanswer and say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father orhis mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor'slandmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wanderout of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:19 Cursed be he that wresteth the justice [due] tothe sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say,Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife,because he hath uncovered his father's skirt. And all the people shallsay, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner ofbeast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, thedaughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all thepeople shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law.And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret.And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay aninnocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
~Deuteronomy 27:26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words ofthis law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen
